Hi, we are Darren and Debbie Henderson, the proud new owners of the Great Harvest Bread Company in Wayne, PA and our satellite bakery in Ardmore, PA.

How did we become the owners of this amazing bakery? We have been Great Harvest customers for a very long time...we love the bread so much that when our favorite Great Harvest Bakery in Wayne came up for sale...we just dove in!

Just in case you want to know...the bread is the reason we first started to visit Great Harvest bakeries across the country...but what is so amazing about Great Harvest is that it is a "freedom franchise" so each bakery reflects the personality of the owners and the community all around the bakery...and what fun on both sides of the counter...employees and customers really enjoy Great Harvest Bread Company!

Prior to joining Great Harvest, Darren was a retailing Executive and while he has always been passionate about great customer service he was truly weary of the corporate life...Debbie also a retail enthusiast brings creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit to the team.

We have three children, Paul, Mike and Caylee who will frequent the bakeries and jump in when needed.

So as of June 2010 we are the new bread heads, inheriting a fantastic bakery from Jim and Kim Blumenstock. We thank them for allowing us to step into such a wonderful establishment and we look forward to bringing our own new touches to Great Harvest Wayne and Ardmore.

There will still be fresh Peet's coffee and breakfast goodies for the morning folks, sandwiches for the lunch crowd, and always a great selection of handcrafted whole grain breads and treats made with daily-milled flour and only pure & simple ingredients. We will continue to have baskets and shipping boxes so you can send breads and goodies to friends and family.
